Little learners. Big milestones. A role you'll genuinely look forward to.
Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for a role where you'll feel part of the team from day one?
We've partnered with a warm, welcoming nursery in Gateshead that's searching for someone who loves helping children learn, grow and flourish through play. This is the kind of nursery where every child is known by name, every achievement is celebrated, and every member of staff is valued for the difference they make.
From the moment you walk through the door, you'll be welcomed into a friendly team who work together to create a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
What will your day look like?
No two days are ever the same, and that's exactly what makes working in Early Years so rewarding.
Your day could include:
Greeting children and families with a smile as they arrive, helping every child feel happy and settled.
Reading favourite stories, singing songs and encouraging children's communication and language through fun, engaging activities.
Getting stuck into messy play, arts and crafts, sensory activities and creative learning that sparks little imaginations.
Exploring the outdoor learning space, encouraging curiosity, confidence and independence through play.
Supporting children as they build friendships, solve problems and celebrate those magical "I did it!" moments.
Helping with snack and meal times while encouraging independence and healthy habits.
Observing children's development, celebrating their progress and working closely with colleagues and parents to support every stage of their learning journey.
Most importantly, you'll spend your day making children feel safe, supported and excited to come back tomorrow.
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
✔ Has experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
✔ Brings energy, kindness and creativity into everything they do.
✔ Loves building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
✔ Understands the importance of creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
