This is an exciting opportunity for highly technical professionals with a strong background in cyber security data analytics big data and data modelling. Successful candidates will play a key role in developing and enhancing cyber analytics capabilities leveraging large datasets to identify security risks improve threat detection and support data-driven security decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain cyber-focused data models and analytics solutions.
Analyse large and complex datasets to identify vulnerabilities threats and security trends.
Develop scalable data pipelines and analytical models to support cyber security use cases.
Collaborate with cyber security engineering and data teams to deliver innovative security analytics solutions.
Work with structured and unstructured datasets to improve threat detection and operational security insights.
Support the development of advanced analytics capabilities within large enterprise environments.
Build and optimise data solutions using modern big data technologies.
Contribute to cyber security initiatives focused on emerging technologies including AI-driven security and vulnerability analysis.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations to stakeholders across cyber and technology functions.
Ensure solutions are delivered to high engineering and security standards.
Essential Skills & Experience Strong experience within Cyber Security and Data Analytics.
Proven expertise in data modelling for cyber security analytics or big data use cases.
Strong Python development skills.
Experience working with Databricks.
Experience working with large-scale data platforms and analytics solutions.
Strong Linux administration and scripting knowledge.
Experience working with cryptography or Python-based cryptographic libraries.
Understanding of vulnerability management and/or emerging AI security concepts.
Experience delivering technical solutions within complex enterprise environments.
Desirable Experience Azure Cloud
Splunk
Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of modern cyber security frameworks threat detection and security operations
