Job description
Job Title: General Maintenance Technician Location: Bromley (South East London region) Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Salary: £29,395.40 total + 11 / 15% LWA + great company benefits! An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our company to work with one of our major UK supermarket clients. This mobile role supports multiple stores through planned visits and responsive maintenance. You’ll complete a wide range of building fabric and housekeeping repairs—including fixing floors, walls, doors, toilets, fitting rooms, basic plumbing and other general upkeep—along with carrying out and assisting minor PPMs to ensure each store stays in good working order. You’ll work closely with store management teams during every planned visit, giving clear updates on progress, next steps, and timelines. A key part of the role is making sure all stores remain safe, compliant, and fully operational, identifying issues early and taking appropriate action to resolve or escalate them. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in delivering quality work and knows that great service comes from clear communication and leaving the customer fully satisfied with what’s been done.
