Room Leader

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Pixieland Stoke. We are looking for a full-time Nursery Room leader but we would consider part-time, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children’s play, learning & development. We are looking for a professional attitude, but with a sense of fun and excitement as this allows our children to thrive within our nursery family environment. • Leading and supporting your team
• Creating programmes and activities for the children
• Keep records of children’s development and liaise with parents
• Upholding safeguarding practices with your team
• Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children’s needs
• Supporting your team to develop their role with the help of your manager
• Complete transfer documents and ensure they meet EYFS requirements

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ level 3 in childcare or above
• Minimum of 2 years experience in childcare
