Your Day-to-Day
Working as an AWD specialist in our Newbury facility, you will:
- Carry out premium vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on specialized off-road and utility vehicles.
- Use specialist diagnostic equipment and multi-brand software to systematically trace, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate mechanical and electrical faults.
- Conduct comprehensive safety inspections, steering/suspension setups, and drivetrain overhauls.
- Complete jobs to a high "first-time fix" standard and maintain an organized, clean bay.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Credentials: Formal automotive training or certifications (NVQ Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent time-served background).
- The Background: A proven track record working as a confident Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic in a professional garage environment.
- The Mindset: Strong diagnostic problem-solving skills, excellent attention to safety details, and a proud, efficient approach to your work.
- The Basics: A full, valid UK driving licence is essential. You must also have your own tools.
