\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation based in Milton Keynes. This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys driving operational improvements, implementing new processes, and helping shape the future of a warehouse operation.\n

\n This position would suit a commercially minded manager with strong strategic thinking and the ability to lead change within a fast-paced environment.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high service standards.
    • \n
  • Develop and implement strategic operational improvements.
    • \n
  • Review, negotiate, and renegotiate supplier and service contracts where required.
    • \n
  • Support the development of new warehouse processes and operational best practices.
    • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
    • \n
  • Manage and develop warehouse teams, promoting a positive and high-performing culture.
    • \n
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • \n
About You \n
\n
\nWe're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:\n
\n
    \n
  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar senior operations role.
    • \n
  • Experience implementing strategic operational improvements.
    • \n
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
    • \n
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing contracts.
    • \n
  • A track record of helping establish, develop, or improve warehouse operations or start-up environments.
    • \n
  • Strong IT and computer literacy.
    • \n
  • An IT background would be advantageous but is not essential.
    • \n
Working Hours \n
\n
\nDuring the initial onboarding and training period (approximately the first three months), you will need to be flexible and work 12-hour shifts while gaining a full understanding of the operation and supporting the transition into the role. Once established, the position will move to an 8-hour shift pattern.\n
\n
