Job description
Position: Maths Teacher Location: Watford Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Maths Teacher Role in a Selective Boys' School A highly respected Selective Boys' School in Watford is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Maths Teacher to join its outstanding Mathematics department from September. About the Role The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' mathematical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. Students follow an ambitious curriculum covering algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, calculus, and advanced mathematical concepts. You will prepare students for GCSE, A-Level, and Further Mathematics examinations while inspiring confidence, resilience, and intellectual curiosity. You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through UK Mathematics Trust competitions, maths clubs, intervention programmes, enrichment activities, and university preparation sessions that encourage students to pursue mathematics beyond the classroom.
