The sales Coordinator will support the UK sales operation by accurately processing customer orders, maintaining ERP system data, supporting logistics and delivery planning, and providing high-quality customer communication. The role requires strong attention to detail, confident use of Microsoft Excel, experience of ERP systems, and the ability to work effectively with UK customers, transport partners, and international colleagues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities\n· Manage incoming customer orders and enquiries through a busy shared inbox.
\n· Accurately enter sales orders into the ERP system, Epicor.
\n· Issue sales acknowledgements and support customer communications regarding order status and delivery dates.
\n· Assist with creating and sending delivery notes and customer documentation through the ERP system.
\n· Support the Transport Planner with delivery administration, logistics coordination, and load planning activities.
\n· Liaise professionally with UK customers, transport partners, internal sales colleagues and international group colleagues.
\n· Provide holiday and absence cover for members of the sales team where required.
\n· Work with SVP Sales to communicate with key customers.
\n· Maintain high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer service.

\nMicrosoft Excel is a key skill. Intermediate level is mandatory and will be tested during recruitment.

\nRelevant experience using an ERP system such as SAP, Epicor, Sage or similar.
\nBasic / Intermediate / Advanced to be stated
\nExperience
\nMinimum of 2 years in sales administration, sales operations, customer service, logistics administration or similar.
\nPractical examples required
\nAccuracy
\nStrong attention to detail in order processing, data entry, customer communication, and follow-up.
\nDemonstrated through work history and references.
\nAcademic
\nClear academic achievement record required, including GCSE English Language and Math's at grade B or above, or equivalent. A-level qualification preferred.
\nQualifications and grades required
\nLogistics
\nExperience in logistics, delivery scheduling, transport coordination or load planning is useful.
\nDesirable
\n\nEssential Qualifications and Experience\n· Minimum 2 years' experience in sales administration, sales operations, customer service, logistics administration or a similar business support role.
\n· Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required and will be tested as part of the recruitment process.
\n· ERP system experience using SAP, Epicor, Sage or a similar order processing/business system.
\n· Ability to describe and demonstrate Excel and ERP capability as basic, intermediate or advanced, supported by practical examples.
\n· Strong accuracy in order processing, data entry, customer documentation and written communication.
\n· GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics at Grade B (equivalent to Grade 5-6 under the current GCSE grading system) or above, or equivalent qualification/standard, with clear details of academic achievement provided.
\n· Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, transport providers, and internal teams.
Desirable Experience\n· Experience in logistics administration, transport coordination, delivery scheduling, or load planning.
\n· Good geographical knowledge of the UK, including regions, delivery routes and customer-site locations.
\n· Experience working with international colleagues, suppliers, or customers in a multi-country organisation.
\n· Experience in manufacturing, distribution, utilities, construction products or technical product environments.
