You’ll be joining our
Highways maintenance
team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What you’ll be doing
Ability to develop relationships with Colleagues, Clients and supply chain partners to effectively deliver works.
To be responsible for successful delivery of highway maintenance works to time, cost and quality requirement
Ensure H&S compliance across all works and within the depots
To ensure client expectations of individual works are achieved.
Able to efficiently and effectively manage the supply chain in line with the M Group Minimum standards and HS&E policies.
To work with the Scheduler to plan and permit upcoming works and to ensure timely closing of orders.
To ensure all tasks are carried out in line with the programme, resources and that they are executed in accordance with specifications, drawings, dimensions and within agreed commercial limits.
To supervise both self-delivery and supply chain delivered works.
To ensure individual works are administered in accordance with NEC Contract
Base location is flexible and can be based in any of our 4 depots across Cambridgeshire.
What you'll bring
Desirable to have SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS
Must be able to apply a thorough working knowledge of the New Roads and Street works Act.
Demonstrate practical site skills in highway works management
Demonstrate able knowledge of NEC Contract Administration and Commercial awareness within a civil engineering discipline.
Good people management skills and ability to promote positive behaviours in others.
