Motor Vehicle Technician Keeping Frontline Ambulances Safe, Roadworthy and Ready to Respond The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Fleet Engineer to join our Fleet Services team. This is a vital role supporting the maintenance and repair of a large and diverse fleet of emergency and non-emergency vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable, roadworthy and available when our communities need them most. Working on frontline ambulances, rapid response vehicles, specialist HART vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and fleet support vehicles, you will use your advanced technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical and high-voltage faults. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of safe patient care by helping to maximise vehicle availability and operational performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working with cutting-edge vehicle technology and is committed to continuous professional development. Key Responsibilities As a Vehicle Technician / Fleet Engineer, you will: Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a wide range of fleet vehicles, including emergency ambulances, patient transport vehicles, rapid response vehicles, HART vehicles, HGVs and support vehicles.
