The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established and growing fabrication business specialising in bespoke metalwork projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys a varied role combining both workshop and site-based duties.
Duties Include:
· Fabrication and welding of bespoke metalwork
· Manufacturing staircases, balustrades and structural steelwork
· Reading and interpreting technical drawings
· Site installations and fitting work
· Maintaining high quality standards throughout production
· Following all health and safety procedures
Experience & Skills Required:
· Minimum 5 years' fabrication/welding experience
· Strong MIG welding experience (essential)
· MAG and TIG welding experience beneficial
· Ability to work from engineering drawings
· CSCS Card advantageous due to site installation work
· FLT licence advantageous
· Willingness to work away occasionally when required
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Hours of Work:
Monday - Tuesday: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Wednesday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am - 11:00am
(30-minute lunch break)
