Pharmacy Manager Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire £25.00- £27.00 per hour + Performance Bonus (OTE up to £62,000) Monday to Friday (9:00am-6:00pm, Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm) An exciting opportunity to lead and grow a thriving community pharmacy Are you an ambitious GPhC registered Pharmacist looking to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Manager to join my client in Stoke, a well-established community pharmacy located close to Health Centres. This is an exciting opportunity to take over the management of a successful pharmacy as the current Pharmacy Manager prepares for retirement. Part of a successful independent group of 11 pharmacies this role offers the chance to become a key figure in a growing business with genuine opportunities to shape the future of the branch. About the Pharmacy Situated within a busy GP Health Centre, the pharmacy benefits from a strong relationship with the surgery, offering excellent potential to increase prescription volume and further expand clinical services. The pharmacy currently dispenses approximately 12,000 prescription items per month. You’ll be supported by an experienced and dedicated team including: * Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) * Experienced Pharmacy Supervisor (7 years service) * Dispenser * Counter Assistant The pharmacy provides a wide range of NHS services including: * Pharmacy First * NHS Vaccinations * NHS Clinical Services The Role As Pharmacy Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead the pharmacy whilst working closely with the owners to continue growing the business. Responsibilities * Leading the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy * Delivering exceptional patient care * Growing Pharmacy First and NHS clinical services * Driving business development and increasing prescription volume * Creating a positive, supportive working environment * Leading and motivating an established pharmacy team * Ensuring the pharmacy operates safely, efficiently and compliantly About You We’re looking for someone who is passionate about community pharmacy and enjoys developing both people and services. Qualifications & Experience * GPhC Registration (essential) * Ideally 2+ years’ post‑registration experience (although strong newly qualified Pharmacists will be considered) * Experience delivering Pharmacy First and vaccination services * Excellent communication and leadership skills * A proactive approach to business development * A passion for delivering outstanding patient care Package & Benefits * £25.00- £27.00 per hour (£52,000 basic salary) * Performance bonus * Monday to Friday working pattern * Opportunity to do IP after 1 year employment – fully paid * No Sunday working (rotational Saturdays) * 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) * Pension scheme * CPD and further training support * Free onsite parking * Modern working environment within a busy Health Centre * Join a well‑organised, supportive independent pharmacy group with ambitious plans for growth Why Join the Pharmacy You’ll be joining an independent pharmacy group that genuinely values its teams, invests in its people, and encourages innovation.
