Instrument Technician Location: Barrow Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to perform routine maintenance and defect repairs, ensuring the reliability and availability of plant and equipment involved in gas production and processing. This role demands technical expertise, safety awareness, and effective collaboration across teams to support operational excellence. Purpose of the Role To carry out routine maintenance and defect repairs to maintain the reliability and availability of plant and equipment within gas production and processing facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on plant and equipment in line with established procedures, safeguarding assets, the environment, and the wellbeing of all personnel. Troubleshoot complex technical issues on critical plant, identify effective solutions, and restore normal operations promptly. Prepare and present accurate technical reports, maintaining detailed records within recognised systems for analysis and audit purposes. Support commissioning and decommissioning activities to meet planned plant operation schedules efficiently. Contribute to the design and commissioning of plant modifications, proposing enhancements to optimise plant and equipment availability.
