TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across DH1 2AA, Durham. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students build confidence, improve attainment, and reach their full potential through personalised support.
Deliver engaging 1:1 SEN tuition sessions.
Plan lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs.
Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and engagement.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback after each session.
✔ Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
✔ Experience with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
✔ SEN experience is essential.
✔ Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.
✨ Flexible part-time work during weekdays between school hours.
Competitive hourly pay.
Weekly pay every Friday via PAYE.
Ongoing support from a dedicated TP Tutors consultant.
