About the role To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the Waitrose E Commerce Vehicle fleet and outlying branch vehicles, in a professional and competent manner. Providing technical support to the on site transport department and Local Waitrose and John Lewis branches. At a glance

Salary:

The salary offered for this role is up to £55,000, depending on skills and experience,

plus overtime is readily available.

Working Hours:

Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, plus working 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, at premium overtime rate. Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00-14:00

Week 2: Monday to Friday - 13:30 - 21:30

About the Role

To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on site E commerce light commercial fleet. ● To carry out repair and maintenance of outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles for John Lewis and Waitrose branches and CDHs. ● You’ll be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to deliver high-quality repairs are carried out in a cost-effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.

Essential Experience/Qualifications required: City and Guilds Level 1,2 and 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications

Full UK Manual Driving Licence

A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs

Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness

Desirable Skills: IRTEC

LGV C+E Driving Licence

EV experience
