Job description
Job Description

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong understanding of operational risk, compliance and continuous improvement within a manufacturing, construction materials or industrial environment? Do you have a passion for creating safe working environments, influencing positive behaviours and driving high standards across multiple sites? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Are you looking to be part of a company that values people, innovation and sustainability?

If so then we've got an amazing opportunity for you here at Kerakoll, a B corp certified company that brings passionate thinkers and makers together to build better places to live.

We're looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Operations team, supporting Health & Safety activities across all Kerakoll sites and our field-based workforce. This is a highly visible role focused on promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal standards, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

As a Health & Safety Advisor at Kerakoll, you will work closely with operational teams, engineering, maintenance, contractors and key stakeholders to identify and manage workplace risks, investigate incidents, implement corrective actions and support the consistent application of Health & Safety procedures across all areas of the business. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a positive Safety-First culture whilst supporting the practical application of H&S legislation, including DSEAR and COSHH requirements.

This is an exceptionally varied role where no two days are the same. You will regularly engage with teams across multiple departments and sites, carrying out workplace inspections, supporting risk assessments, analysing H&S performance data and delivering practical safety improvements. You will also support accident and near miss investigations, safety training initiatives, emergency response activities and ongoing compliance with ISO accreditations and ESG-related requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and confident communicator who can positively challenge behaviours, influence stakeholders at all levels and translate regulatory requirements into practical operational measures. You will thrive in a hands-on environment, balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day operational support.

This is a full-time, permanent Monday to Friday role. The position is multi-site and field-based, requiring regular travel across Kerakoll locations. Working with a high level of autonomy, you will collaborate closely with teams across Operations, Engineering and Production, regularly visiting sites and engaging with stakeholders to promote safe ways of working and maintain consistent Health & Safety standards across the business. Keep reading to find out more....
