Paramedic - Primary Care Application Deadline: 31 August 2026 Department: Paramedics Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Penrose Surgery & Penrose Maddock Way Description Are you a motivated and patient-focused Paramedic looking to develop your career in Primary Care? At Penrose Health, youll join a highly supportive multidisciplinary team where youll play a key role in assessing, triaging, and managing patients with same-day healthcare needs. Youll have the opportunity to follow patients through their healthcare journey, gaining valuable experience in continuity of care while developing your clinical skills in a rewarding and supportive environment. This role provides the opportunity to support patients from initial presentation through to resolution. You will contribute to a wide range of clinical activities, including remote and face-to-face consultations, home visits, vaccinations, and clinical support to GP colleagues. Whether youre already working in Primary Care or looking to make the transition from another healthcare setting, well provide the support, training, and development opportunities you need to succeed. Key Responsibilities * Providing second-line clinical triage for same-day patient presentations * Conducting face-to-face, telephone, and digital consultations * Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of acute health conditions * Carrying out home visits where required * Supporting vaccination and preventative healthcare programmes * Working closely with GPs, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals * Contributing to quality improvement and service development initiatives * Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care You’ll thrive here if you: * Are a HCPC-registered Paramedic * Enjoy working as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team * Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Are organised, proactive, and adaptable * Enjoy problem-solving and clinical decision‑making * Are keen to learn and develop within Primary Care * Value continuity of care and building relationships with patients * Want to work in a supportive environment that encourages growth, learning, and professional development More Information: The full Job Spec is here J-18808-Ljbffr
