Job description
The Home Meadow View is a beautiful, modern care home in Enniskillen, providing professional and compassionate care for up to 54 older people, including those living with dementia. With breath-taking views across a meadow, charming gardens and sociable shared spaces, Meadow View is a great option if youre considering a new place to call home. Our safe and happy, home-from-home setting, features luxury, state-of-the art facilities and all the quintessential comforts in which to provide good quality, person-centred, residential and dementia care in Enniskillen. At Meadow View, residents health and wellbeing are a priority. Our residents are fully supported to live a comfortable, active and fulfilled lifestyle, with compassionate carers on hand, around the clock, to support their individual needs and wishes. All our private, light and spacious bedrooms are fully-furnished, with the benefit of en-suite facilities. Residents are very welcome to bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their space and make it their home. We are dedicated to providing quality care for the residents living with dementia and for those who are cared for in their rooms too; our whole team approach to wellbeing means that everyone feels part of our lovely, welcoming community. The Role The role of the Domestic Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper with the environment of the Home, the Domestic Assistant will contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The Domestic Assistant will ensure that the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times. The Domestic Assistant role at Healthcare Ireland Group works closely with the care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where our residents feel safe and cared for. From ensuring that rooms are clean to tidying communal areas, every task contributes to the value that we add to the lives of our residents. About The Role Main Responsibilities Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home Cover domestic duties as assigned Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
