Job Reference: RAJ150726 Job Title: Joiner (Maintenance) Salary: £31,200 DOE + van / fuel / package Location: Derry, Londonderry, Northern Ireland VANRATH are recruiting a Joiner to work within the Building Maintenance department for a large, leading Construction Company in Derry, Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The business work on Housing projects and they are looking for NVQ Level 3 qualified Joiners with good experience that come on board and carry out maintenance work to domestic properties. This is a permanent opportunity with an organisation that can provide long term career stability and progression. This role combines expertise in joinery with skills in general maintenance tasks to ensure properties are structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and functional. Key Accountabilities: Provide a high-quality service, specifically within domestic properties Install and fit joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings Repair or replace damaged joinery components such as windows, doors, skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen units Construct and install wooden frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames Perform routine maintenance and repair work on existing wooden structures Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors Keep tools and equipment in good working order and follow company safety procedures The Ideal Person: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Valid CSCS/CSR card Relevant on-site experience in similar role Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to demonstrate good teamwork values Full, valid, clean driving license For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Robert Apps for a confidential discussion IND03 Skills: Joiner Trades Maintenance Social Housing Carpentry Benefits: DOE + van / fuel / package
