The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded provider of children's residential care services for an experienced

Senior Residential Support Worker . This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation that is committed to providing high-quality, therapeutic care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. You'll work within a supportive residential setting where your experience, leadership and passion for making a difference will help create a safe, nurturing environment in which young people can thrive. The Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will: Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home. Provide guidance, coaching and support to Residential Support Workers. Deliver high-quality, child-centred care tailored to individual needs. Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people. Support education, independence, life skills and personal development. Promote positive behaviour through therapeutic and restorative approaches. Ensure safeguarding remains at the heart of all practice. Maintain accurate records, reports and care documentation. Work collaboratively with families, education providers, social workers and other professionals. Ensure the home operates in line with current legislation, regulations and quality standards. Participate in sleep-ins and flexible shift patterns as required. About You

Essential

At least 12 months' experience working within a children's residential care setting. Full UK Driving Licence. Passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Resilient, calm and able to work effectively under pressure. Flexible approach to shifts, weekends and sleep-ins. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Desirable

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience leading shifts or supervising colleagues. Knowledge of therapeutic childcare approaches. Good understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and safeguarding legislation. What's on Offer
