Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant - 1 year initially - mainstream primary in Chelsea SW10* We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelsea SW10, who are looking for a SEN TA to support a child in Reception with medical needs (seizures and mobility issues) on a full-time, long-term basis. You will be based in the school from 8.30am-12pm then in the home of the child in the afternoon to 3.30pm. Location: Chelsea SW10 Start Date: September 2026 Role: SEN TA – child in Reception – school AND home based Contract: Full‑time, term time only, for one year initially The Role: * Provide one-to-one support for a Reception pupil with SEND in both classroom and home settings. * Adapt learning activities and resources to meet EHCP targets and individual learning needs. * Deliver targeted interventions to develop communication, early literacy, numeracy and independence. * Implemented behaviour support, sensory regulation and AAC strategies to promote engagement. * Worked collaboratively with teachers, therapists and parents to ensure consistent support and positive outcomes..
