This is an excellent ongoing temporary opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering an essential service to the local community. As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll play a key role in carrying out daily refuse and recycling collections, ensuring waste is collected safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Working as part of a dedicated crew, you'll help keep the local area clean while providing excellent customer service. What you'll be doing As part of your role, you will: Carry out scheduled refuse and recycling collections safely and efficiently. Operate collection vehicles and associated machinery in line with training and health and safety procedures. Use safe manual handling and lifting techniques when collecting waste and recycling. Complete daily vehicle and machinery inspections before and after use, reporting any defects promptly. Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicles and equipment.
