The Role
We are searching for a confident and communicativeReservationist to ensure our guests expectations are continually surpassed. Inthis vital role you will be the first point of contact for many of ourcustomers across our digital and telephone channels defining the service theyreceive from the moment they get in touch. If you are a flexibleproblem-solving professional who thrives in a busy thriving independent hotelenvironment we would love to hear from you.
What youll be doing:
- Liaising with our customers via telephone andemail as well as managing contact across multiple platforms such as over thephone and via email.
- Resolving queries at the first point of contactusing a proactive problem-solving approach to deliver an outstanding seamlesscustomer experience.
- Building quick rapport and handling queries froma variety of guestsfrom VIPs to first-time visitorsadapting yourcommunication style to meet their needs.
- Collaborating with various departments andsupporting colleagues to ensure guest preferences are detailed and exceptionalstandards are maintained across the hotel.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar reservations or customer service role is essential.
- Excellent communication and listening skills with the confidence to multitask and record information accurately with high attention to detail.
- Proven capability and experience in utilising IT systems and software.
- A flexible and adaptable mindset with the willingness to adapt shifts and duties at short notice to support the team.

Contract & Hours:We are offering either a full-time position at 40hours per week (reducing to 20 hours per week from June 2027) or a part-timeposition which would be either permanent or contracted until June 2027 based entirely on your preference.
