Were looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who thrives in complex environments can successfully juggle multiple large-scale projects and enjoys turning ambitious plans into reality.
The Opportunity
As Senior Project Manager youll take ownership of a varied and challenging programme of works across Scottish Gas Murrayfield Hive Stadium and the wider Scottish Rugby campus. From infrastructure upgrades and capital investments to essential lifecycle and remedial works youll ensure projects are delivered safely efficiently on time and within budget.
This is a role for someone who can confidently operate in a fast-paced live-event environmentbalancing operational demands managing competing priorities and bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.
What you will be doing:
Youll lead multiple projects simultaneously overseeing every stage of delivery from initial concept through to handover. Working closely with internal teams and external partners youll:
- Manage a portfolio of complex capital infrastructure and facilities projects.
- Lead project planning budgeting risk management and programme delivery.
- Coordinate consultants engineers contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Drive decision-making governance and project reporting.
- Manage project budgets forecasts costs and variations.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and CDM requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to the projects team helping prioritise workload and deliver results.
What were looking for:
Youll be a highly organised and commercially minded project professional with a track record of delivering multiple complex projects in challenging operational environments.
Were particularly interested in candidates who bring:
- A recognised Project Management qualification.
- 6 years project management experience.
- Proven success managing multiple complex projects at the same time.
- Experience within construction engineering infrastructure estates facilities or building services.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience leading contractors consultants and project teams.
- Excellent financial and budget management capability.
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
