At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Ryde, Isle of Wight.

This is for a night shift opportunity.

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician you will carry out Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on site. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, fault finding and rectification of machinery defects as well as identifying problems and ensuring time efficient resolution in line with production requirements. As a Maintenance Engineer you will also undertake both reactive and preventive maintenance across our Trucast Site. You may also have the opportunity in machine, process and building improvement projects!

    • Knowledge around Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and other relevant regulations and standards.
    • Level 3 qualification in electrical/ Mechanical engineering or relevant work experience.
    • Knowledge around inspection and testing low voltage installations and equipment.
    • Health and safety qualified (desirable but not essential)
