Spire Claremont Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join the bank team
Duties and responsibilities:
To work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service within the hospital which ensures a safe environment for all Patients Visitors Staff and Contractors.
The role will require repair maintenance or installation of all plant equipment systems and building structure/fabric.
This will consist of Planned Preventative Maintenance testing and calibration fault finding defect correction and supporting the emergency on call on a rota basis.
To undertake maintenance/testing/troubleshooting of plant/equipment ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations / PPM Schedules and manufactures instruction including but not limited to;
- Building and Minor Electrical Responsibilities
- Water Responsibilities
- Ventilation System Responsibilities
- Decontamination Responsibilities
- Medical Gas Responsibilities
- General Duties
Who were looking for:
- Served a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with C&G Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical field
- Hold relevant certificates or be willing to undertake specialist training in specific areas
- Significant experience in building services management with a track record of success
- Extensive knowledge of building services
- Able to prioritise demands against resources
- Able to support hospital compliance with changing legislation
