Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of mainstream secondary schools in the Wirral. These roles involve supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other learning challenges.

In addition, we are seeking SEMH Support Staff to work within our partner alternative provision schools, supporting students who face social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) barriers, as well as those displaying challenging behaviours.

About the Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social development
• Build positive, trusting relationships to help students thrive
• Work collaboratively with school staff and external professionals

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:

• Have experience working with young people with SEN or SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)
• Are patient, resilient, and adaptable
• Have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
• Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Are committed to making a positive impact on students’ lives
