Spire Dunedin Hospital is currently recruiting for a Cardiac Sonographer to join the team on a bank basis supporting the Cardiology Outpatient Service.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of one of the UKs leading private healthcare providers delivering a wide range of cardiac procedures for both inpatient and outpatient this role you will work closely with cardiac physiologists consultants and nursing staff contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient-focused care.
Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading the hospital has two theatres 16 inpatient beds three recovery bays Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing echocardiography investigations for adults and adolescent patients as part of the BSE guidance
- Assess patients health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
- Provide reports for scans
- Contribute to the implementation of new cardiac services.
- Contribute to quality improvement.
- Apply technology for measurement monitoring and treatment.
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility
Who were looking for:
You will be able to demonstrate your detail-oriented thinking interpersonal skills and technological aptitude.
- BSC Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- Completion of BSE
- BSE registered
- Post qualification experience in echocardiography
- You will have the ability to scan adults and ideally adolescent patients
