HGV 2 Drivers

4:00pm
(50-hour contracted week) Regular
overtime opportunities , including evenings, nights, and weekends Flexible working structure:
Can work up to
12 consecutive working days , followed by a mandatory
48-hour rest period Can work a pattern aligned to an
18/6 schedule
(up to 18-hour shifts including unpaid breaks, followed by 6 hours required downtime) Salary & Earning Potential £16.10 per hour
(£41,860 basic annual salary) Overtime paid at £24.15 per hour
(time and a half after 50 hours) Significant earning potential through overtime can be £3k-5k+ monthly take home. But is dependent on the overtime you wish to do: Example:
25hours weekly overtime x£24.15=£603.75x 4weeks average in the month=£2415-20% Tax=£1932 on top of your normal basic take home monthly. (Please note that if you are to hit the higher tax threshold you would end up paying more tax) Call-Out Bonuses: £30 per weekday £45 per weekend day Benefits Competitive salary with excellent overtime rates Company pension & death-in-service cover 20 days annual leave , increasing with service Bank holiday incentives

career progression and job security Key Responsibilities Operate specialist vehicles including
jetting tankers, super suction tankers, and combination units
(training provided) Respond to
emergency callouts , including sewer blockages, flooding, and pollution incidents Work on both private and public land in line with
health, safety, and environmental regulations Carry out vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift Accurately complete all job documentation Report defects, incidents, and near misses promptly Maintain driver logbooks in line with compliance requirements Ensure PPE is maintained and fit for use Keep vehicles and equipment clean, organised, and operational Attend training and support other teams when required Requirements Valid
HGV Class 2 licence CPC qualification Ability to work independently and follow remote instructions Professional and courteous when dealing with customers and the public Desirable
(Not Essential) Experience in drainage, liquid waste, or environmental services Street works or high-pressure water jetting experience Training Provided We invest in our team and provide full training, including: First Aid Manual Handling Asbestos Awareness EUSR Water Hygiene Card (Blue) EU Skills Card (Green) Additional relevant safety and industry training
