EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Were looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician covering the Hinckley and Lutterworth area to support the smooth operation of our critical wastewater treatment this role youll be responsible for the daily upkeep maintenance and repair of heavy mechanical equipment ensuring reliability and efficiency across site operations while playing a vital part in pollution prevention and protecting the quality of water within our systems.
Youll work on a variety of plant machinery including pumps motors and gearboxes as well as specialist systems such as screw conveyors used to lift and transport water. A key part of your role will be maintaining essential infrastructure like scraper bridges within treatment tanks helping to keep processes running safely efficiently and in line with environmental standards.
This is a practical engaging role - perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving takes pride in maintaining equipment to a high standard and is motivated by making a real impact on environmental performance and clean water outcomes.
Youll be based in ourin the Hinckley and Lutterworth patch where you will be provided with a vehicle and tools so you can fulfil your role. This makes having a driving licence essential.
With this being such a critical role were looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week. You will also take part in a standby rota every 1 in 5 weeks (you will receive an additional allowance for this!).
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Having a level 3 Mechanical or equivalent qualification in essential.
