Senior Manager Procurement (12 months FTC)

At Aston Martin were on an exciting journey. As we continue to evolve and grow were looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. While the contract has a defined duration the impact you can make during that time is significant.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the business. Someone who can think strategically while staying connected to the day-to-day realities of procurement. Someone who is naturally curious enjoys solving complex challenges and gets real satisfaction from developing people and building strong relationships.

Youll lead a team of Buyers Senior Buyers and Procurement Managers providing direction support and coaching while helping to create an environment where people can do their best work. Youll work closely with stakeholders across the business influencing decisions driving supplier performance and ensuring our procurement strategy continues to support Aston Martins ambitious plans.

Were not looking for someone who simply follows the process. Were looking for a leader who can challenge constructively bring fresh thinking and identify opportunities others may not see. Youll be comfortable navigating a fast-moving environment balancing competing priorities and making decisions that deliver both short and long-term value.

From shaping commodity strategies and supporting supplier negotiations to driving continuous improvement initiatives and developing future talent no two days will look exactly the same. Thats what makes this role so rewarding.

Youll have significant procurement leadership experience within the automotive industry together with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Youll understand the strategic importance of Procurement and be confident operating at both a strategic and operational level. Youll be commercially astute analytically strong and comfortable making decisions in a complex environment.

Just as importantly youll be an excellent communicator who can build credibility quickly influence stakeholders effectively and create strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
