Senior Radiographer - Mammography The Clementine Churchill Hospital 15 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £55,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) We have an opportunity to join the Imaging department as a Senior Radiographer. This part‑time role requires a flexible shift pattern over 15 hours per week. Duties * Actively participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, providing a consistent, high‑quality service to all patients and visitors. * Carry out general and specialised radiographic procedures within scope of competence, assessing patients and interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate techniques. * Conduct imaging examinations in line with department operational procedures and policies, using techniques that minimise radiation dose while producing high‑quality, diagnostic images. * Practice good radiation protection and safety, observing Local Rules and Systems of Work. * Comply with departmental IRMER, Radiation Safety Policies & Procedures. * Participate in supervision, training and peer review within area of competence/expertise. * Charge for all Imaging services in line with Charging Guidelines and fulfil all charging/billing requirements of the hospital. * Observe imaging department Radiation Policies, SOPs & WIs. * Complete all relevant mandatory training. Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria * Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector. * Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations. * Extensive knowledge and experience in Mammography essential. * Ability to undertake I.V. contrast injections. * A Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography. * HCPC registration. * A general radiographic background or training. * IT system familiarity, e.g. RIS / PACS. * Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and its systems and processes. * Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability. * Knowledge of Radiation Regulations. * Successful completion of an approved Cannulation course. * Successful completion of the Circle Health Group PGD training and compliance with the associated PGD.
