English Teacher Location: Kibworth Start Date: Monday 24th August 2026 Duration: Until at least October Half Term (with potential to be extended) Salary: Teacher Pay Scale - £32,916 to £51,048 per annum (pro rata), likely to increase in line with the nationally agreed teacher pay award when announced. Mana Education is working with a highly regarded secondary academy in Leicestershire that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their successful English department from 24th August 2026. This is a full teaching role, and planning, preparation and marking are required, making it ideal for a teacher looking to become fully involved in the department and inspire students to develop a love of English Language and Literature. The Role You will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating a positive learning environment and ensuring students achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include: Teaching English Language and Literature to secondary-aged pupils. Planning and delivering high-quality lessons. Marking work and providing constructive feedback. Assessing student progress and adapting lessons accordingly. Maintaining excellent classroom behaviour and safeguarding standards. Working collaboratively with the wider English department. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has ✔️ QTS / equivalent recognised teaching qualification OR relevant experience in UK schools ✔️ Experience teaching English within UK secondary schools. ✔️ Strong classroom management skills. ✔️ Excellent communication and organisational abilities. ✔️ A passion for helping young people succeed. ✔️ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
