The Major Project Manager leads ateam to develop and deliver large-scale infrastructure projects across the County. These include transforming town centres improving bus infrastructure and deliveringmajor transport infrastructure improvements that support housing and economic growth.
This role gives the chance to bring your commercial acumen and planning skills toensure value is embedded throughout the project lifecycle . As an effective leader you will possess strong negotiation and communication skills with an ability to build and maintain working relationships withother County Council teams key stakeholders and external partnersto support the development and successful delivery of projects.
This is a fixed term role expected to end August 2027.
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience of managing large scale projects
Are able to manage resources efficiently taking into account the impact of national and local strategies or priorities.
Can translate strategic priorities into clear outcome-focussed objectives and provide energy and drive to achieve them.
Can effectively plan manage and critically evaluate throughout a project management life cycle.
Displays confidence in dealing with ambiguity complexity and change.
