Job description
Are you looking for a part-time KS1 teaching role where inclusion, relationships and genuine care for every child are at the heart of school life? A friendly village primary school in the Ware area is seeking a passionate Year 1/2 Class Teacher to join its close-knit team from September 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who thrives in a small school environment, enjoys being part of a collaborative team, and is committed to ensuring every child feels valued, included and able to succeed. The Role Part-time Class Teacher Mixed Year 1/2 class 3 or 4 days per week (Wednesday-Friday or Monday, Wednesday-Friday) Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027 Full class responsibility September 2026 start Strong knowledge and recent experience of KS1 and Little Wandle Phonics essential Experience supporting children with Autism and additional SEND highly desirable Suitable for experienced teachers with a genuine passion for inclusive primary educationThe School A small Church of England village primary school near Ware, Hertfordshire Part of a federation while maintaining its own unique identity and strong community spirit Small class sizes with learning support assistants working alongside class teachers A nurturing school where children's wellbeing, confidence and happiness are central to school life Rated Good by Ofsted, with inspectors recognising the quality of education, behaviour, personal development, leader...
