About the Role: We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Supported Housing Officer (Waking Nights) to provide overnight support and maintain the safety and security of our hostel.
Working with people who may have experienced homelessness or face challenges including mental health issues and substance use, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, person-centred service and responding calmly to incidents as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a professional overnight reception service.
• Ensure the safety and security of residents and the building through patrols and monitoring.
• Support residents with welfare concerns and emergencies.
• Complete incident reports and shift handovers.
• Monitor curfews and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Act as Fire Warden and provide First Aid when required.
• Report maintenance issues and maintain a safe environment.
About You! You will be calm, resilient and compassionate, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Experience in supported housing, homelessness, care or security is desirable.
