Basic Function: | Kent State University is seeking an audiology faculty member in the Speech Pathology and Audiology program in the College of Public Health and Health Sciences. |

Examples of Duties: | Duties/essential functions may include but not be limited to the following: The candidate will be appointed to a non-tenure track position a rank to be determined by experience. This candidate will be expected to be an experienced clinician with the skills to provide classroom instruction. They should demonstrate capacity to skillfully teach upper division Speech Pathology and Audiology (SPA) undergraduate courses and graduate clinical courses in our nationally ranked and regionally valued clinical Audiology graduate program in partnership with the University of Akron through the Northeast Ohio Audiology Consortium (NOAC). The candidate will ensure practices of the clinic and student practicum experiences meet standards for accreditation of graduate programs by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associations Council for Academic Accreditation and the standards for certification of individuals by ASHAs Council for Clinical Certification. The consortium and campus doctoral program will likely require some administrative duties to support students admissions and other functions. |

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: | Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally. |
