Job description
Health and Safety Advisor - £45,000 to £55,000 + Car/Allowance - Utilities Infrastructure - Scotland – Hybrid – ID: 11717 Do you want a role where you can influence operational teams, improve health and safety performance, and support the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across Scotland? Principal People are working with a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to support projects across the Scottish Water framework. This is a hybrid role with regular travel to sites across Scotland, partnering closely with operational and project teams delivering essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the safe delivery of projects by providing practical health and safety advice, ensuring compliance with company procedures and UK legislation, and helping to drive continuous improvement across the framework. This is a highly visible, site-focused position that will suit someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing operational teams, and promoting a positive safety culture through collaboration rather than enforcement.
