  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches where necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
  • Promote positive behaviour through supportive and consistent behaviour management strategies.
  • Ensure safeguarding and the welfare of all pupils remain a priority at all times.

  • Has experience supporting pupils with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
  • Is patient, resilient, adaptable, and committed to helping every child succeed.
  • Has excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with EHCPs and annual reviews.
  • Knowledge of communication approaches such as Makaton, PECS, or AAC.
  • Experience using sensory and therapeutic approaches to learning.
  • Additional SEND or specialist teaching qualifications.

What We Offer
