BIM Project Lead - London Bicester or Newcastle

We now seek an experienced BIM Project Lead to be based out of our London Bicester or Newcastle office.

Role Responsibilities:

Planning and Project Management:

• Communicate project resourcing requirements to the Local BIM Manager.

• Liaise with design teams including supply chain to ensure that technical information and outputs are produced and deliver in line with information requirements and industry standards.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders such as client project managers and design managers.

Setting up BIM project environments:

• Lead the mobilisation process by setting up CDEs modeland drawingtemplates 2d and 3d content.

• Interpret and implement client requirements on project assignments.

• Coordinate with project teams to integrate BIM processes into project planning and execution.

Production:

• Lead the production and maintenance of BIM models drawings schedules and specifications using Autodesk BIM360/ACC ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Lead the production and maintenance of interrogation and coordination model files including clash management activities and associated reportsfly-throughs and other outputs using Autodesk Navisworks Manage and Autodesk BIM360 / ACC.

Support:

• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and best practices.

Liaise:

• • Be the client-facing Single Point of Contact (SPOC). Liaise with clientsregardingall CAD and BIM aspects of a design project.

  • Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.

  • Work closely with the Local Regional and Global BIM leaders to input into training and development plans for all 2D and 3D modelling staff. Implement strategy on projec

Meet:

• • Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and clash detection sessions with multi-discipline teams including setting agendas tracking progress achievements programme risks distributing actions etc.

• • Attend project meetings and presentations either in person or video-calls to present live 3D modelling progress clash management reports walk-throughs etc to project teams and client teams

QA:

• Ensure compliance with client information requirements industry standards and company policies by auditing 2D CAD drawings and 3D models including outputs generated in any business areas. This includes file naming convention attributes and values Level of Information Need Segregation and Federation vendors and internal content compliance materials modelling and drafting standards etc.

Drive excellence:

• Have an innovative andholistic approachto sustainability in the context of construction design and modelling.

• Identifyopportunities for process improvement and innovation within the BIM framework.

• Act in an ethical manner and follow the principles of the Ethics Charter and Ethics in Practice Guidelines.

Role Requirements

Essentials:

• Excellent knowledge of authoring software such as Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD as well as coordinationand interrogationsoftware such as Autodesk Navisworks Manage and CDEs such as Autodesk BIM 360 and ACC with a focus on MEP and multidisciplinary process-focused construction project environments. Including the setting up of drawing templates building of parametric parts libraries and use of intelligent duct and pipe routing

• BSC/BEng BTEC National Dip in Building Services Construction BIM or equivalent demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.

• Minimum of five years experience using Autodesk Revit in project environments.

• Proventrack recordof 3d modelling and coordination on construction projects within CAD/BIMenvironments.

Desirable:

• Hold relevant qualifications or certificates in BS EN ISO19650 Autodesk Revit Autodesk Navisworks Autodesk AutoCAD.

• Extensive experience working under BS EN ISO19650 PAS1192 BS8888 or equivalent.

• Experience of working within a contractors drawing office (site based) producing coordinated construction/ installation workshop drawings using 3D modelling software.

• Experience in a global consultancy ideally with construction phase experience Stage 0 - Stage 4 5 and beyond.

• Proventrack recordin the setting up and management of BIM Model management platforms / CDEs i.e. Autodesk BIM 360 Autodesk Construction Cloud etc.

• Proventrack recordin the creation of Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

• Proventrack recordin the development and management of company CAD/BIM standards and alignment to industry AEC standards.

• Sound knowledge of key regional UK and European H&S issues and legislation.

• Previousexperience of working in a global business (desirable).

• A validcscscard (desirable).
