\n \n Job Title: Quantity Surveyor\n
Location: Derby\n
Salary: £47,000-£50,000 + Car Allowance
\n Sector: Offsite Construction

\n \n \n We have partnered with a specialist offsite construction contractor delivering truly unique projects across the UK. The role requires a competent, standalone QS with solid measuring experience and the ability to manage packages with limited supervision. This opportunity suits candidates with around 5-10 years' experience who are comfortable working across contractor environments and can contribute quickly due to the urgent nature of the hire.\n \n \n
\n Key Responsibilities:\n \n
    \n
  • Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion
    • \n
  • Undertake accurate measurement and cost planning for works
    • \n
  • Prepare and manage valuations, variations and final accounts
    • \n
  • Liaise with project teams to ensure cost control and financial reporting
    • \n
  • Review and administer JCT & NEC forms of contracts
    • \n
  • Support procurement of subcontract packages where required
    • \n
  • Maintain accurate records and commercial documentation
    • \n
  • Contribute to project forecasting and budgeting activities
    • \n
\n \n Experience Required:\n \n
    \n
  • 5-10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
    • \n
  • Proven ability to work independently on commercial activities
    • \n
  • Strong measuring experience across relevant construction packages
    • \n
  • Experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor
    • \n
  • Understanding of standard construction contracts
    • \n
  • Competent in cost management, reporting and commercial processes
    • \n
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
    • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    • \n
