Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
Type: Permanent

What We're Looking For\n

We're keen to speak with engineers who can demonstrate:

• Strong commercial experience in full-stack software development.
\n
• Experience designing and delivering complex software applications.
\n
• Strong development experience with: \n

  • Java (Spring Boot)

  • JavaScript/TypeScript (React preferred)

• Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs.
\n
• Knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.

• Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivery.

• Eligibility to obtain UK SC Security Clearance.

• Design and develop modern, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces.

• Work with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Contribute to front-end architecture and technical best practices.

Back-End Development\n

• Design and develop secure, scalable APIs and backend services.

• Build robust server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, and system integration.

• Ensure solutions are high-performing, secure, and maintainable.

Database & Data\n

• Design, maintain, and optimise relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

• Develop efficient database structures and queries.
\n
• Ensure data integrity, resilience, and performance.
\n
• Support the development of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
\n

DevOps & Cloud\n

\n
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

• Support deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
\n
• Monitor, maintain, and improve platform reliability and performance.
\n
• Drive automation and DevOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle.

Quality & Collaboration\n

• Conduct code reviews and champion engineering excellence.

• Develop automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end frameworks.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders.

• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
