Job description
Finance Assistant- Belfast City Centre- Hybrid Annual Salary: £30,458 - £31,097 Job Type: Full-time, Fixed term contract, 6-9 months with possible extension Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local Public Sector organisation and assisting with the recruitment of an experienced Finance Assistant for a period of 6-9months with possible extension. Day-to-day of the role: Process high-volume supplier and partner payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies. Administer partner claims and project advances, maintaining meticulous records and documentation. Support the rollout, training, and transition activities for MS Dynamics. Assist in audit preparations, financial forecasting, and reporting activities. Maintain financial systems, ledgers, and supporting records accurately and up-to-date. Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate financial operations. Perform general administrative duties as needed to support the finance team. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in financial support roles, preferably within a corporate finance environment. Strong ability to process and manage high-volume transactions with attention to detail. Experience with financial systems, particularly MS Dynamics, is highly advantageous. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, for reporting and administrative tasks. Benefits: Competitive salary package.
