Salary: 38737.92 per annum
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday 6:30am 5:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our Transport team based in Gainsborough. Reporting to the Driver Team Managers and Fleet Transport Manager you will play a key role in ensuring the safe efficient and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and vehicle compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to customers in line with company procedures and schedules.

• Maintain a high standard of driving adhering to speed limits road traffic regulations and safe driving practices.

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness including lights brakes fluid levels and general condition.

• Report any vehicle faults breakdowns accidents or delays promptly.

• Keep vehicles clean and presentable both internally and externally.

• Ensure the vehicle is sufficiently fuelled for the days activities.

• Maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.

• Check all deliveries via the EPOD terminal and ensure all orders are loaded correctly.

• Collect customer returns mail and delivery bins ensuring their safe return to the branch.

• Handle damages and breakages in line with company procedures including HazChem requirements where applicable.

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.

• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.

• Support the wider transport team and undertake additional duties as required.

• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

What Were Looking For

Essential

• Full UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.

• Aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.

• Willingness to keep Fleet Services updated on any changes to licence status including endorsements or driving bans.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Desirable

• Previous multi-drop delivery driving experience.

• Route planning experience.

• Knowledge of delivery management systems and handheld devices.
