Job description

Care Practitioner. St Helens Hall Care Home

  • Hourly Rate: £12.76 per hour
  • Shifts: nights positions available (8pm-8am)
  • Contracted Hours: 38.5 hours per week working on 3 on 3 off rota (nights) or 33 hours on a flexible working rota

What will you do as a Care Practitioner?

You'll play an essential role in ensuring our residents feel safe, secure, and well cared for. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance: Helping residents with hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs
  • Monitoring and responding to needs: Conducting regular checks, addressing any concerns, and supporting residents with dignity and respect.
  • Encouraging restful sleep: Creating a calm and comfortable environment while assisting with evening and early morning routines.
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing: Offering reassurance and companionship to residents who may feel unsettled
  • Maintaining high standards: Ensuring cleanliness and safety across the care home during your shift.
  • Recording and reporting: Documenting observations and any incidents clearly for day/night staff handovers.
  • Teamwork and flexibility: Working closely with your colleagues to provide seamless, high-quality care.
