Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Accounts & Finance Director to take ownership of the finance function for their multi-branch estate agency ensuring accurate financial management compliance and commercial reporting across the business.

Based at the companys Head Office in Brixton this is a hands-on management team role working closely with the Managing Director and external accountants to oversee the day-to-day finance operation while providing strategic financial guidance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting forecasting reporting and maintaining strong financial controls to support the continued success of the business.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as an Accounts & Finance Director:

• Leading and managing the day-to-day finance and accounts function across the business
• Preparing management accounts budgets financial forecasts and cash flow reports for senior leadership
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations statutory requirements and internal controls
• Managing relationships with external accountants auditors HMRC and financial advisers
• Providing commercial financial insight and strategic recommendations to support business growth
• Overseeing payroll tax planning audits and financial reporting while identifying and managing financial risk

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

• ACCA AAT or equivalent accounting qualification is essential
• Previous Accounts and Finance leadership experience within an estate agency or property company is essential
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting statutory compliance and accounting best practice
• Experience producing budgets forecasts management accounts and cash flow analysis
• Confident working closely with Directors and providing commercial financial guidance
• Excellent understanding of bookkeeping payroll and financial controls
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Professional communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
