Graduate Mental Health Support Assistant – Gateshead (Full-Time)

Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting young people and promoting positive mental health? We are looking for a dedicated Graduate Mental Health Support Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Gateshead, supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health, Counselling, Social Work or Teaching. You'll gain invaluable hands-on experience while helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
As a Graduate Mental Health Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
