We are recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and want to build the skills, confidence, and classroom experience needed for a successful career in teaching.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. No previous teaching experience is required, making this the perfect stepping stone into education.

The Role

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Encourage student engagement and participation throughout lessons.
• Support students aged 11–16 in achieving their learning objectives.
• Build confidence leading classes independently.
• Gain experience across different subjects, year groups, and school settings.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding expectations.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in a subject taught within the secondary curriculum (or a related discipline).
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is confident speaking in front of groups and leading a classroom.
• Is passionate about working with young people.
• Is considering a future career in teaching or education.
• Is organised, adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn.
• Has, or is willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
