Join us and be part of a vibrant community at Loughborough University.

Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for:

We are seeking to recruit a high calibre individual to join the growing Department of Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy as either a Lecturer in Criminology OR a Senior Lecturer in Criminology.

The post will be based on the Loughborough campus in the East Midlands.

The department is particularly interested in hearing from candidates with specialisms including, but not limited to, criminal justice responses to violence and violent crime, youth justice, youth offending and adverse childhood experiences, substance use and misuse, harms and injustices experienced by marginalised groups.

We also welcome applications from people with a range of methodological expertise.

At Loughborough, we strive for better, think differently, challenge convention and take action. We are passionate about finding solutions to the major problems faced by society and the planet, and we create opportunities for those with the drive, the ambition, and the determination to apply themselves in the pursuit of better.

About the Department
