This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of concrete panels to customers and construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the timely delivery of precast concrete panels to customers and project sites.
  • Plan and oversee daily distribution and transport activities.
  • Align logistics operations with production schedules and commercial priorities.
  • Liaise with internal departments including Production Planning, Sales, and Operations.
  • Coordinate with external transport providers and contractors to ensure efficient deliveries.
  • Create and manage GRNs (Goods Received Notes) and transport documentation.
  • Maintain accurate transport records and system data.
  • Gather, analyse, and input transport-related information into company systems.
  • Forecast transport and logistics requirements over short- and long-term project timelines.
  • Ensure trailers are loaded efficiently and safely, with an understanding of panel configuration and transportation requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement within transport and logistics processes.

Required Qualifications/ Skills

Previous experience in a Transport Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Purchasing Administrator or similar role (minimum 2 years preferred).

Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities within strict deadlines.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Good understanding of transport planning and logistics operations.

Awareness of commercial implications within transport and distribution.

Construction industry knowledge is highly desirable.

Precast concrete or facade industry experience would be a strong advantage.
